19th century Small Oak Occasional Table

An unusual early 19th century small rectangular occasional table. D593 The oak is cut thin for the simple plank top and the beautifully shaped frieze. Slender tapered legs are finished on the corners with a fine scribed moulding. It was probably designed to sit beside a chair. Circa 1820
